She is quick under full canvas, easy to handle, close-winded and fairly well
balanced to boot. The rig, which supports a fairly large mainsail and a small,
non-overlapping jib, was rather lightly built for serious offshore work. The
cockpit is well laid out, with all the essentials within easy reach of the helm
– a bonus for short-handed sailing. As befits a yacht of this size, she sports
a tiller rather than a wheel.Down below, the open-plan layout makes for an
airy, well-lit saloon with a vee-berth in the forepeak. There’s a large dinette,
a decent galley, a generously proportioned chart table with ample stowage
and a good-sized heads compartment aft of the companionway. The aft
cabin is surprisingly roomy .
